TL;DR
Use Scrapus lawfully and only for publicly available data. Credits don't roll over. You can cancel any time. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Scrapus, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use our platform. These terms apply to all users, including free-tier and paid subscribers.
2. Description of Service
Scrapus provides AI-powered data collection services that gather publicly available information from the internet. Our platform includes pre-built data packages and a free-form data collection interface.
3. Acceptable Use
You may use Scrapus only for lawful purposes. You may not: (a) collect private or confidential data, (b) violate third-party website terms of service, (c) use data for spam, harassment, or illegal purposes, (d) resell our service without authorization, or (e) circumvent our credit or rate-limiting systems.
4. Public Data Policy
Scrapus collects only publicly available data. Users are responsible for ensuring their data requests comply with applicable laws in their jurisdiction. We reserve the right to refuse data collection requests that may violate third-party rights or applicable law.
5. Credits and Billing
Credits are consumed when data is successfully collected. Unused credits do not roll over between billing periods. Payments are processed by Stripe and are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
6. Intellectual Property
Scrapus and its logo are trademarks of Scrapus. Data collected from public sources belongs to the respective source owners. Your account data and scraped results are your property; we claim no ownership over them.
7. Limitation of Liability
Scrapus is provided "as is." We make no warranties about data completeness or accuracy. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid in the preceding 12 months.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time from your profile page. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable laws. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration where permitted, or in courts of competent jurisdiction.
